28th Annual Keena Turner Golf is back June 19th
The Keena Turner Golf Tournament is back in 2023 and will take place Monday, June 19th at the Ruby Hill Golf Course! For the past 28 years, Keena & Linda Turner have worked tirelessly to bring together their extended 49er family and friends to raise money to benefit the programs the Club provides for at risk youth in Tracy. Due to the popularity and success of the tournament, it has become a staple in the Tracy community, with both businesses and individuals who support and look forward to playing a round of golf with Keena and his 49er friends. Thanks to the overwhelming support from donors and sponsors of the Keena Turner Golf Tournament, over 6 million dollars has been raised to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy. The impact of the funds raised from the Keena Turner Golf Tournament has supported mentoring programs for 2,000 children a day through after school programs.
This year the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy has made their vision into a reality by opening a club at EVERY school in Tracy Unified! We successfully added 8 new club sites this year for a total of 15 Clubs in Tracy including 1 club at Tom Hawkins in Jefferson School District! Our expansion has allowed us to almost triple the # of kids we serve each day from 700 kids to over 2,000!! As we manage our growth, our need to fundraise continues.
